The library at work is warm today. I am unable to use my office for anything. All of my furniture has been forced to find new dwellings while the custodial department removes the old wax from the floor. So I reside here, surrounded by books. No one else is here. So I'm in another play. Learning my lines. Garnering the parts of my costume, etc... plus I'm doing the program, which needs to go in early as we are switching printers, AND I'm the sound engineer for this show, which means I have to build all the sounds and train the tech on their use (timing etc). I leave at 10am local time tomorrow to begin my 12 hour journey home. 12 fucking hours!!! You'd think I was flying to Europe or something!!!! A 3 hour layover in Dallas, another 1 or 2 in Philly. I left on Saturday morning at 1am to catch a 5:10am flight. Bad idea. Turns out, even though you're supposed to show up 1.5 to 2 hours early, the airport doesn't even being opening till 4am.
