I finally scrounged up enough money from underneath my sofa to buy my outrageously and grossly overpriced prom tickets.

Other schools sell their tickets for $70. My high school sells for $100.

Included in the price is:

• Frozen TV dinner. Not pre-heated.
  
• Dessert. Whatever you can catch that scuttles in the grass outside.
  
• Music DJ. 14-year old

are is $30 for a ticket and we get no food and the place we have it is our nasty ass 42yr old gym....and if we have music its possibly going to be cd's played and picked out by our lovely fat ass principal....how fun....

Say what! I would have killed to have our prom at Kravis.

Last year we were looking straight across and saying it would have been a lot better there.

$100 for a prom ticket is such a ripoff. Even if it is at the Kravis Center, is it going to be worth $100 (and all the money spent on other things)? Yeah, it might look nice, but is it going to be nice? Florida is full of things that look nice but really aren't (CityPlace, our school, etc.).

By the time everyone eats it'll be 3/4 over. Then dancing for probably not even an hour. Where does the 100 bucks go?.....That's right, the overhead costs to put it on at the Kravis Center. And that all makes sense because....?
