Today I went on my first business trip. I woke up at 4 in the morning after staying out till 1 to see Los Campensinos play at the Empty bottle monday. I took the blue line out to O'hare, and just barely caught my flight (thank goodness for employee security lines). I relized this morning that, since I can fly anywhere I want for free, I can go see just about any band I want.  As long as they play in a city with an airport and on a saturday, I can fly out on friday or saturday, stay the night, or just get back on a red-eye and go home.  Or lets say I want a real taco.  Fly to Mexico.  Canadian bacon?  Hello ( Read more... )

Today was exciting.  My boss was finally back from vacation, and I got a lot of stuff to handle for her.  The day went by fast.  It only took 40  minutes to get there today!  I got to leave at 4:10 as a result, and I was home by 5:05.  The parking lots there instead of being labeled A,B,C etc. are labeled by airport codes.  The ones closest to the ( Read more... )
