Had hoped to finish posting about our week in las Vegas, but it will need to wait until later this weekend. Working just a half day today, picking Brittany up early from school, then head north to southern NJ. My maternal aunt died early Tuesday AM, so off for a weekend of high family drama...

Oh yeah, returning to the "real world" probably has something to do with it...unpacking, catching up with massive loads of laundry, the mom thing, and work. And the air conditioner is finally getting a break. After 2 - 3 weeks of unseasonably nice weather - reminded me a lot of Colorado with crisp blue skies - the past couple of days were hot and humid. At work, we're getting ready for an off-site meeting next week. One of the committees that I support is meeting in the Baltimore Inner Harbor on Tuesday and Wednesday next week. VA happens to be the federal agency that I've worked at for the last 19 years. I work in the Office of Information for Veterans Health. The theft of all of those veterans' information is just devastating.
