Most of the people I've met in this city are really very nice, dependable and decent, but some people could really do with being more thoughtful. It's very disappointing to see someone apparently lacking any shred of consideration for others - especially someone asking others for help! -

Why, fancy that - our prayers have been answered! It looks like we will have Christmas after all!

I need to speak to a, er ... 'Mister Nice Hat' - anyone with a kitten named Chii staying with them? I've promised to take her fishing (even if I do doubt we'll find anything) but I don't know where to come and find her. -

It is certainly nice to see so much festive spirit in such a gloomy place. If there's one thing about this city that never fails to cheer me up it's how many people in it are so persistently good-natured and hopeful in the face of hardship! I do hope that despite it all, everyone here has the Merry Christmas and Happy New Year he deserves ... and ( Read more... ) -

Confound these can-openers! I coped perfectly well with the cat-food in packets, I can use a pair of scissors, but I can only seem to find tinned food, and the can-openers . . . I just don't seem to have the grip for them, I suppose. I'm sure I shan't starve, but it is terribly, terribly frustrating ( Read more... )
