I haven't been posting for a month or two, mainly because there is nothing interesting to post. Well, I could elaborate on my trip to China in exhaustive detail, but I doubt anybody would want to read that ( Read more... ) -
coming few weeks + last week-ish
Coming month:
-gonna be in China; don't expect me to respond to anything unless I somehow by chance steal a computer
-will be back on Aug 17th
-expect that I'll be covered in mosquito bites and that I won't be able to speak English very well
-also, you might get some interesting gifts :)

terribly tactless terrors.
Well, our “family” of sorts went shopping this weekend, and we went to Kohl’s, where we picked up two empire-waist shirts. One was for my mom, one for me, and of course, being 25 years younger, I looked better in the shirt. July 4th and zhe cat that's a hat
July 4th parade as tiring, as usual. :P How nerdy I am...always spending my holidays volunteering.
Anyway...Anna and I were assigned to carry a 50 foot Hello Kitty Statue of Liberty, which was a lot harder than we thought. The thing was HUGE! The ropes are really quite thin and give you terrific rope burn, and we were given repeated warnings ( Read more... ) -

Españolándia y otras cosas, porque tengo demasiado tiempo
Expanolandia was chaotic, as is characteristic of all of Ballado's ventures, but rather fun in that "let's go work our asses off" way. Very busy and ant-like.

Everytime I express some sort of unhappiness, my mother calls me an ungrateful child and then compares my "supreme fortune" with that of "those starving children in Africa."

I got to school and I was studying Spanish verbs all the while, and then I walk into Mr. Ballado's room. Everybody there is practicing, testing the recorders, prepping and freaking out. Then we get in Norse Hall, and the test begins.
