Why do I always have writer's block until the last second? I hate how I just sit there and watch my blood pressure rise while others turn out beautifully articulated essays about their lives, using extended metaphors.

Asian mothers.........
inSome Asian mother wanted me to tutor her two daughters for two hours, so I told her $15/hr/girl. That's much lower than typical price, considering my GPA and SAT scores. Usually, I can charge $20.
She says, over the phone, "So that's $60, right?" I say yes.

lockdown today
We had a lockdown today at school, from about 12:30-1:40. Roughly an hour in lockdown, which we spent half in semi-serious whispering and half in boisterous bonding games.

I feel better....and worse, in some ways
I think I'm in love with Mrs. Antonacci. She calmed me down today and told me to just write whatever I want for the National Merit Scholarship (Well, she listened to my idea and then approved of it first), and also told me not to listen to my parents when I asked what to do when they tell me to take out creative parts of my essays.
