Y'know, I wouldn't have expected Human Factors to be the class with the misprinted test (the last 20 questions had all the distractors marked `d'). Neither did the instructor.

Houghton-Mifflin apparently put out a new edition of all of my math books this semester.

(They needed to, because the current editions are only so-so textbooks, and worthless references.)

And worthless is the word, because now you can't give them away, much less sell them.

$350+ of books --> doorstops.

Gah!

With two more presentations this week, and finals coming up, I really don't have time to comment properly on this. My deepest condolences go out to the families of those who died, and to those who were injured in this tragic event.

Apparently, the storms that knocked out our power took a big bite out of soutwestern Volusia and Northern Lake counties, with ome 14 fatalities. T and I are fine, just inconvenienced by roadblocks (they finally figured out that Beresford Rd is the only way out of our neigborhood about noon) and no power.
