One of those little adminstrative details that incoming freshmen (freshpeople?) have to deal with is documenting that you've Had Your Shots. Normally, this is not a big deal, since you're just out of high school, and your school also required these things and keeps track of it ( Read more... )

Here's some of my Oshkosh Pictures. These are'nt real high resolution, because I took them with my phone. On the other hand, my phone takes pictures -- how wierd is that? I never did get an opportunity to just go shooting with the camera I brought, but that wasn't a priority this year. Enjoy!

So, I'm working on the basic documentation for the new Young Eagles club (called the Young Eagles Wing) that our EAA chapter is starting. (Hey, they put me in charge, I get to make the rules. Heh!) Here's my best draft for the mission and vision for the club. It may not look it, but I think every word is needed to get the idea across.

Woke up with the alarm on my watch, because I didn't want to be late for my volunteer shift. I'd signed up for a day of working at KidVenture, the youth activities pavillion outside the EAA Museum. I think KidVenture is a cool concept, and it sure attracts the kids, but I wonder how well it's achieving its goals ( Read more... )
