So I haven't posted in quite awhile. Loads of things have transpired in the interim. For one thing, I got a part-time job at Loblaws developing pictures. It's really laid back work, and I'd really like it if I was only paid more than minimum. So about a week ago I was hired into Loblaws as a photolab techy. I like working with pix for a variety of reasons, but working for minimum wage at the same time really sucks. Thursday evening I went out to watch a movie with my brother. Apparently the only theatre in all of Ottawa playing the movie about Global Warming featuring Al Gore was the Bytowne cinema. I have at long-last decided what I'm going to be doing for the fall term. Tomorrow I'll be stopping by Carleton U's office of the registrar to confirm my eligibility for the fall term, and will then transfer credits earned in Guelph back to Carleton. Back when I was a youngun, I went to a scouts camp named camp Opemikon near Perth for 1 or 2 weeks each summer. I can still recall the butterflies and anxiety I felt awaiting the bus that would transport me to camp.
