All the Volt employs working at Microsoft got a nice email yesterday. It seems we are all being forced to take a 10% pay cut or lose our jobs. Since Volt hasn't been very good about raising pay rates the last 4 years (I've been with the same group going on 4 contracts now) I'll be cut back to about what I was making 3 years ago. Well I finally signed up for livejournal since all my closest friends are here and it's a good way to keep up with what's going on with the ones that don't live close enough to see all the time. So don't expect a lot of chatter about me. But I'll be watching and chiming in on all my friends journals for sure!
