Oh, I forgot to mention how crazy the "24" season finale was last night. It was fantastic to see President Logan squirm. I told Dan that every time Jack came onscreen I suddenly felt much more at ease. Jack can save the world, I'm sure of it!

"sweeney todd" was spectacular!!! even better than i expected. patti lupone and michael cerveris and the whole cast made me love the show even more than i already did. i bought a 36$ ticket, the cheapest one they had, the back of the mezz. and it would not be a bad seat at all considering the size of the theater. however, the usher moved some of us ( Read more... )

i went and bought a ticket to see "sweeney todd" tomorrow night! i'm so very excited! Now if I could only find a decently priced ticket to "Wicked." For some reason I don't think that's possible.

Heading back to NY tomorrow. I had a fantastic weekend with Erin and her family! I think it was exactly what I needed--a long weekend of fresh air, lots of grass-trees-mountains, and no work! I just answered a call from a woman with a wonderful southern drawl. As soon as I asked for her phone number on the order and she said "828..." I knew I was talking to someone close to home. Turns out she lives in Blowing Rock. She stays at the Appalachian loft with her husband when they visit. We chatted for 5 minutes. it was spectacular.
