OK, here's the deal about squirrels

Repeat after me. Squirrels are nasty.

Well, they are. They're cute rats, that's all. Vermin with good PR. I had to murder a squirrel once (imagine the scene with the mad dog in TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD, except the dog is a squirrel and Gregory Peck is me and instead of a gun I have a stick) and the harrowing experience may have scarred me--I freely ( Read more... )

Ickus the Miniature Schnauzer (who is kind enough to let me live with him) has been telling me for YEARS that squirrels are evil and they will kill us all if he doesn't keep them at bay. He is so concerned about the explosion of those demonic beasts here, as a matter of fact, that he has enlisted the help of two Shelties from the 3rd Floor, plus a rottweiler, a pit bull pup, and four mixed-ancestry dogs in the buildings on either side of us...to fend off the pending invasion. The key, he says, is to act really tough and bark a lot when they taunt you from a perch just outside the reach of your teeth. Just be careful to NEVER TURN YOUR BACK TO THEM!!

A fox would be helpful! beartech420 September 29 2007, 20:33:32 UTC
Squirrels invaded the house though a hole on the roof of the porch. They were there for a few years and just totally took over the yard. They loved the house in the winter and totally overpopulated! Harry dropped some poison inside the walls of the house and we had a squirrel genocide. And now we see one at a time and none of them have found the way back in through the porch.

Mark was telling me about another creature that is inherently evil and one that keeps coming back.... Furbies.

He was telling me that if you get a large number of them and sit them in a circle facing each other, they will trigger each other. Eventually, they will get to the slowly bow over and over at each other stage or some such. it looks like a demonic busby berkely number.

Thought it would be funny one year to put a whole bunch in black robes and sit them around a dayglo green pentagram with candles at the points for halloween and play the music from the exorcist or somesuch. But then again, I'm evil.

not your barney and baby bop evil or even your basic 'hello kitty' evil... nope. I' your Freddy meets condoleeza with a dash of Margaret Cho evil.
