Bicycles.
My quest to commute to work by bicycle is getting ever closer to completion. I got as far as Ameristar on the bike trail today - which is about halfway to where I work, as the crow flies. There are at least 2 big hills between there and work, though.
Unfortunately, the number of days suitable for biking this year is growing ever smaller. -

Someone stuffed one of his flyers in my door yesterday. Apparently he is running for school board.
Conveniently, he had an email address on the flyer. So I asked him the one question that matters in a school board election:

our household has a new member. His name is Felix, and he's an orange and white long haired cat.
He belonged to a relative of mine who was forced to give him up. My mom took him in after the first person she gave him to neglected him.
this brings the total # of felines in the house to 8.

So I went to Gen Con. it was kinda crazy, but it was fun.
First, there was the car ride over there. I woke up really early, only to find mike had beaten me to the punch. we'd already done most of our packing, so all there really was to do was have breakfast and go.
