There are times when I am so completely frustrated with the SCA that I want to go and find another hobby. (Even the politics in the JSA community isn't as bad as this sometimes.)

And then there are times in which I am reminded how absolutely fantastic the people we have are.

This is one of those latter times.

Lots of fantastic people. Still a crappy hobby that I frequently want to get out of.

I hope the latter outweighs the former, but I certainly understand significant fluctuations from time to time.

(I sometimes wonder if my continual focus on one-good-attribute-per-person isn't a bit self-deluded; a forced optimism, of sorts.)
