Okonomiyaki means "whatever you like, grilled in Japanese". It's one definition of "Japanese pizza" because, well, it does kinda look like pizza, and you eat it like one too.

Ingredients:

• 1/2 lb grilled eel (unagi no kabayaki), cut into bite-size pieces
• 4 small green pepper, sliced
• 8 shiitake mushrooms, or 3/4 lb shimeji mushroms, sliced
• 3 Tbsp mirin
• 1 Tbsp soy sauce

Ingredients:

• 3 cups dashi soup stock
• 1 block tofu
• 3-4 tbsps miso paste
• 1/4 cup chopped green onion

Preparation:
