Reading: The Filter Bubble: What the Internet is Hiding From You, by Eli Pariser. brdgt quoted it on her FB wall and it sounded intriguing, so I got it from the library. It's about the way the personalization trend of the internet (think targeted Google ads) is affecting our cultural discourse. It's pretty awesome, but also kind of scary.

I LOVE BEING RIGHT!!
Y'all remember two years ago, when I went to trial out of town for a week and we ended up losing? The biggest loss we've had, by far.
WELL. This morning the 9th Court of Appeals ruled on the appeal (because of course the case was appealed) and THEY REVERSED IT. To wit:
