Though it's the big 1-8, as the night progresses Billy's found he enjoys the small celebration Teddy's thrown together for him. It doesn't live up to any of Chris's raves and there's no big drama to deal with; just most of his favorite friends, a cake to eat and only a few card games forced on them by request from the birthday boy. The ride home isn't uncomfortable so much as quiet, Billy too caught up in his anger at the whole debacle at the party and wondering why he'd even thought it a good idea to go in the first place. Though too distracted by exploring their new surroundings with Teddy to remember school on the first day of winter, Billy makes an effort to show up for his next day of classes, with only a few stops along the way. Just like the restart of each loop, Billy isn't sure when exactly they're no longer in the office he's come to hate, or when Erik and Charles disappear. Sleep had been a little harder to come by the previous night, no matter how hard Teddy tried to comfort Billy and try to keep him feeling safe. It's hard to sleep fitfully when the threat of disappearing into your mind or someone else's without warning is always there, and even harder with nightmares. Billy's in a total state of disarray, but at least this time he hasn't hurt anyone. By the time he's done apologizing to Wolverine he's flustered and heads into the compound, hoping to figure out if he and Jason are not alone.
