100 things meme.

Apr 01, 2004 00:43

Ages and ages ago that 100 things meme did the rounds. I'm up to 15, no idea if I'll make it to 100. But here are a 100 things about Halimede.

Fun things, serious things, fan things, fic things. )

I loved reading the 15 things about you! I do hope you continue.

Re: boys in skirts - I could not agree more. I have a pin that reads, "I like my men in skirts and my women in combat boots.' Mmmm-mmm. What could be bad?

Re: dyscalculia, I followed the link and had to laugh. I went to college with Sam Abeel, author of My Thirteenth Year that was advertised on the site. She lived next door to me (in the basement of 1837. They euphemistically called it the 'south wing,' but I'm here to tell you it was the basement) the year I transferred to Mount Holyoke College.

Er, a small clarification - it was a laugh of surprise. I actually quite liked Sam. She was nice and very funny. Worked her butt off, too.

Well, knowing someone's enjoying reading it might help with the motivation thing. I'll see what I can do. :)

Wow. Coincidence. The running into someone familiar through a completely random link on the web thing is starting to undermine my faith in statistics. *g*

I just read the description of her book on Amazon, and yeah, that all sounds very familiar. Maybe the 16th thing about me will be something about suddenly being able to count up to twenty, and even a hundred, at the mature age of 30. Because that is a seriously weird experience.

Those people in #1? I'm one of them. Really, never ever. Though obviously it's not possible to predict that I never will.

Ooh, really? So what's that like? Okay, I realise that that's probably like asking 'what's it like to not have claustrophobia'. *g* FWIW, I think for me having the option to walk away makes it possible to go on (after all, you might as well try the (slightly) less drastic options first), and I think I'd just sit down and never move again if I didn't have that option.
