Christmas turned out to be better than I expected. No major arguments or shouting matches. It was pretty peaceful all things considering. It's so cold again. Good job I just got a care/Christmas package from my parents yesterday - I have a proper hat to wear now! This post is long overdue, but... I went to see Apocalyptica in Wolverhampton a week ago and had a good time. It could've been better - I wasn't feeling too well as I had caught a cold - but the gig itself was great. The cello boys are still ridiculously talented and hot, and crazy as always. I went to an aikido class in Birmingham today. I normally only go there for the first Sunday practice of every month when it's club practice, but Miranda had her private lesson with Hanshi Phelps (the head of our organisation) today and there was a chance I I might be able to take part in it too. I've had a fantastic time in Finland. Met family and some friends, spent time with my parents, visited different places and have generally been enjoying myself.
