Aikido Summer School turned out to be a lot of fun, even if I was really quite nervous too. Some of the things we did I didn't really understand or could do, but for the most part I really enjoyed it. One of my favourite parts was doing self-defence in street clothes, it felt different and it was easier to relax then. I got some excellent feedback ( Read more... )

Aikido Summer School starts tomorrow in Birmingham and lasts until next Wednesday. I'm SO NERVOUS. D: ... but looking forward to it as well. :)

Lucky is back! We found her wandering in our garden literally about an hour ago, and Matt's mum and brother Jon managed to tempt her in with food. She was really hungry but seems ok otherwise, and is already behaving like she always is (=lying on her back on a sofa in the front room). Cheeky bugger.. Can you tell I'm not very interested in updating this journal anymore? :P It just seems pretty pointless when a lot of people have disappeared from livejournal, and I just don't know what to write most of the the time anymore.
