The strange values after the decimal point are due to the weighted point values of the Key Questions. In determining the eligible points to be earned by getting those questions correct, the Importance and Difficulty ratings were combined as follows: the means of each were averaged and then scored as indicated in the poll.
The weighted values for Round 5 are:

17: 3.28, 2.33, avg value 2.81
Please remember that all answers and ratings were captured the day the contest was officially closed, so responses that were changed after that were not taken into consideration. Additionally, the contest rules state:
Finally, answers that consist of some-thing/where/one else are considered to be less difficult predictions to make, so a poll will be posted at some point during the course of the contest for participants to select, on a scale, the percentage of the total available point value that those answers, when correct, will be worth.
However, we opted not to further complicate the tabulations and did not include any form of penalty scoring.
