VIDEODROME
Oddly enough, I just watched Videodrome for the first time.
And let me tell you, it hit pretty close to home.
Specifically the bit about manipulating reality via broadcast television, and not so much the part about snuff films.
I also enjoyed the O'Blivion Cathode Ray Mission.
I've had similar ideas myself but never as executable. -
regarding wikipedia
Once information makes it past the checks and balances of Wikipedia's approval process, regardless of it's accuracy it becomes a fact. Sort of like the way a totalitarian government establishes reality for its citizens.
