Today I took a day trip to Crater Lake. It was a 4 hour plus drive each way, but it was worth it. I spent three hours there on a beautiful clear blue day (high of 75F) going around the rim drive (about an hour around with no stops). So I've given it a shot and tried things with the new company since they bought the place from IDT, but things have only gotten worse. The number of wafers out is more important than their quality. Tools just get band-aid fixes rather than finding and fixing the root cause. Engineering is having us run wafers in tools that are not production worthy ( Read more... )

So it seems it's not just peas. I discovered today that my two furry freakazoids also love canned corn.

It's possible the mystique that it came out a can - tuna comes in cans - might be an effect. However, they were once pretty picky eaters.

Strange cats are strange. :D

So ... I open up a can of peas and since I used the electric can opener - AKA the electric cat caller - both kitties come running.

"Myowl! Myowl! Is that tuna?! Myowl!"

So I say to Kali, "Oh c'mon, it's peas. You don't like peas. See?" and I stick the open can of peas under her nose.

*sniff, OM NOM NOM NOM!*

I was out having sushi last night and I was witness to the creation of the strangest roll I've ever seen: The latino sushi chef took a jalapeño pepper, sliced it in half & removed the seeds.
