When I only work one day a week, it's absurd to be so excited about having that day off. But here we are: I just phoned the yarn store and I'm not on the schedule tonight, so hooray!

Today I: took Sienna for a morning walk; did the dishes; finished Netherland by Joseph O'Neill. Those are the productive things. Later I should go out for a few

You know what I found that was REALLY neat? I saw some Corelle sectioned dinner plates at the supergrocery tonight! I often joke about not wanting my foods to touch, so the sectioned plates would be great! Unfortunately they were more expensive than regular plates, like five bucks each, plus I really want to get something used instead of new since I'm sure there are plenty of used plates out there.

1. This Saturday is Goodwill's 50% off sale. They might have some sectioned plates...
2. Big Lots has some nice basic plates & bowls. They carry my current favorite simple white ceramics, for $1-3 apiece.

You know, I completely understand the whole "yay-no-work" thing even when I'm not overworked. I think I just build up a ton of desire for time off when I'm working crazy amounts and it floods the "not-a-lot-a" work times. That, and it's just freakin' ingrained. No work = YAY.
