A little absurdity...
At evil Wal-Mart with a holiday gift card, buying ingredients for oatmeal cookies. They don't carry oat bran. I trudged forlornly -and slightly desperately- up and down the breakfast and baking aisles, trying to will it onto the shelves. A little good news for once
A little while back, I earned a Bachelors Degree. Incurred +$12000 in loans. Paid some of it last year for my first year of Americorps service. Today I paid another big chunk, again thanks to Americorps, and now I have less a third of that loan left to pay off! -
