One form of entertainment is sitting in "the parks" while eating Domino's pizza and feeding the crusts to the squirrel population there.

They don't like Subway crust, by the way. Domino's seems to be the bread of choice for squirrels.

Today my supervisor came in the classroom for the last time. There was no observation. Just the final PDE evaluation form. I ended up getting 11 points out of 12 points, which means I was marked as being a "satisfactory" teacher instead of an "exemplorary" one ( Read more... )

Just thought I would update for the sake of updating. Letting anyone who reads this thing that I'm still alive. Student teaching is hard. Really hard. Emotionally, I've been having a rough time. I now have two weeks of student teaching under my belt. :) I'm in a fourth grade classroom with nearly 30 kids. I like my cooperating teacher; she's very seasoned, that is, experienced with teaching, and I think I will learn a lot from her. She's also very nice and has a fetish for tea like me.
