It's going to be really hard to edit and rewrite my story with the way it is now. It's all but completely lost its pertinence. How can I write about something if the source of inspiration is truly gone? The thing is I do know what I want for my birthday, but I know that I'm not going to get it. There are only two people that could possibly get it for me: one of them I don't really talk to anymore, and the other can't afford to get here.
