Spring Fever
I love, love, LOVE it when the weather is nasty for awhile and then jumps back up to early spring temps. It's a nice little treat, especially when spring is so far away. Hellions
I am just getting increasingly frustrated with my dogs. It seems as though I have traded one good one for two awful ones. Henry is just a little terror! Snow Day!
A huge winter storm came through this morning and has been dumping snow since about 10 am. I left work at about 1:30 and drove about 20 mph all the way home in super low visibility and with frozen windshield wipers. Meet Henry!
Today Shawn and I went into the pet store to get some clippers for Sydney's nails, which grow at an alarmy speed and have become more clackity on the wood floors than ever before. So I was telling my coworkers that every time a holiday comes around that we used to celebrate with all day parties in grade school, I feel like I shouldn't have to work. Buyer's Remorse....Again
So I went to an appliance scratch and dent sale that started today just to look and ended up buying my washing machine there. It was about $150 more than I intended on spending, but the actual washer was about $250 less than retail - just because of a small dent in the bottom corner. I just got back from the dentist, where I had my bi-yearly teeth cleaning. I should know better than to make an appointment at lunch time. The washer just broke. Well, actually it works but during the spin cycle it starts shaking out of control, like a washer possessed! We tried to level it several times and the load isn't uneven. The barrell might be loose, but the washer is old and is starting to put little rust spots on things. I think I am just going to buy a new one rather than ( Read more... )
