Oh, no shit? Probably one of you already mentioned this on your journals, but I suck at LJ. Watch out, once you do that, you have to start being responsible. Or so I hear.

I was being sarcastic, sorry :) I was referring to the housing bailout bill which was just shot down in congress on it's first try through. Sooner or later though the whips will twist enough arms and get that sucker rammed through, and then every man woman and child in this country will pay 2 grand towards buying up bad mortgages.

Reading up on paleoecology actually puts a lot of my global warming fears to rest. Even if the ice caps melt it'll take at least ten thousand years for every human being to die off.
