On Vox: Thin Air
(Mon 29 June -Um -Part one)
Now based near Interlaken, our itinerary again gave us a few days to do our own thing, though with plenty of suggestions for excursions provided. Over Sunday dinner, in the handy Swiss/ Korean(!) restaurant we found near Wilderswill Station, we laid our plans to visit local delights in the predicted poor weather.

On Vox: Metz
Our Grand Tour has begun!
We are spending tonight in Metz, Top right hand corner of France, having travelled today on some very fast Trains via London and Paris.
The evening has been spent very agreeably exploring this old town and eating a mountain of pasta. For a French town close to the German border the restaurants seem very Italian!

On Vox: Bags are packed.......
Tomorrow we set off on a holiday for three weeks, on an unescorted tour, set up for us at fairly short notice by the travel arm of the Ffestiniog Railway.
Both of us are now unemployed, but the sale of our house has now completed and with the future extremely unclear we are taking some of the money and running for a short while.

Fears over 82 jobs as North Wales company goes under
Not completely out of the blue, but there was hope for a last minute saviour until the very end of the money.
Tim is still technically employed, he is 'just' not working, or being paid.
Any-one have work for a senior electronics/embedded software engineer?
