Raphael
Clothing/Appearance:
I tend to fuzzle on Raph's actual height, but I ballpark him at a little under six feet tall. That makes him as tall as I am, which I find amusing. Anyway. He takes care of his appearance; his hair is clean and styled, and he tries to keep his clothes as unwrinkled as possible. Raph dresses like a casual businessman -- buttoned-up shirts, slacks, never wears pants without a belt, ties, loafers, etc. On warmer days he'll forgo the tie, and on colder days will wear a jacket over his shirt, usually open. He prefers mute colors, ones that won't make him stand out too much. It's all very crisp and professional-looking. ( Example.)
Of note is Raphael's choice in jewelry: he'll accentuate his clothes with the occasional accessory (fancy watches, a ring or two) but there's one thing he will always, without fail, include in his outfit, and that is a black necklace given to him from Barbiel. These days, there's a ring hanging on it, a gift from Mika. (He refuses to wear it on his finger)
Habits/Mannerisms/Body Language:
Raphael changes his mannerisms depending on who he's with, but his body language is always pretty obvious as to his mood. To people he's not very familiar with or people he dislikes, he's fairly closed off. He'll keep his arms crossed and shift his hips when he's uncomfortable. If you annoy him, he'll gesticulate with one hand and keep the other planted on his hip. It's very gay.
On the subject of hands, Raphael uses his to communicate (that is, if he's with someone he's comfortable with). He smokes a lot, so he'll use the hand with the cigarette in it to gesture. He doesn't care if he's getting smoke in your face. He'll exhale smoke in someone's face, even. Raph will get all up in someone's business if he wants to, which is usually either him getting riled up or flirting. When flirting, Raph does a lot of "innocent" touches, like brushing a cheek or neck, touching and kissing hands, or brushing the small of someone's back. A lot of Raphael's facial expressions are easy to figure out -- when he thinks he has the upper hand, he'll smirk. When he's in a good mood, he'll smile. When he's irritated, he'll look (and act) bitchy. When he's bored, he'll roll his eyes a lot and sigh and look annoyed. When he's upset, his eyes go cold and he looks like someone kicked his soul puppy. His default attitude is somewhere between annoyed and bored.
This may not count as something to go under this section, but it's worth mentioning anyway: if you ever touch his upper back where his shoulder blades are, he'll go ballistic. That's where his wings go when they're sheathed, and so there are a lot of nerve endings at that spot. If you're a close friend, you're allowed to abuse the privilege of touching it (and most of his do), but he'll still bitch and hit you. :(b

Typical Daily Routine:
Raph keeps irregular sleeping hours. This is because he frequently suffers from nightmares, and if he has one, will not sleep for the rest of the night. He'll do anything he can to not fall back to sleep -- drink caffeine, walk around camp, read, anything. On nights where he does sleep well, he'll usually wake up early and head straight for the showers. He likes to spend an hour in there when he can, but with the number of people in camp it's not always easy to do. After that, it's completely random. Raph doesn't hold himself to schedules unless he absolutely has to. He can be downright anal-retentive when it comes to his lifestyle and physical appearance, but can turn around and be utterly lazy in everything else. He also won't eat at regular hours unless he has to, either.
Favorite Haunts:
The Merkaba, the Library, and sometimes, the Hospital. He tends to avoid the other doctors there, though. Also, on special occasions, he'll be up in the trees watching people as they pass by. He usually only goes to the Mess Hall late at night, when there aren't many people around.
Do they make their own bed?
Yes. He's a very tidy person in general, particularly when it comes to his living space.
