Sagan's been a little snuggly fluffbutt, Makeba spent loads of time lounging on us this morning, and I finally succeeded in planting Asimov on the back of my chair, where he is still purring.
Added to our traditional Saturday farmer's market/Starbucks/French bakery/NPR routine, this is just blissful - even if I do have to work today. -
Yay! I haz a hubby!
And we haz completed Bristol for the year (save for the postmortem meeting), the Sept. 15th tax deadline, and the annual trip to Ojai.

I want to boycott BP. Really I do. Unfortunately, it's a trickle-down effect. Just as it is projected that the state of Florida will lose $10.5b just from the hit to our tourism, BP isn't the one who flounders if I don't buy gas at the corner market. Marooned now has a Facebook presence. Why? Allow me to list the reasons...
1. Nobody really uses MySpace these days, and we find it difficult to navigate for our personal pages
2. The official website has been inaccessible for the past year or two due to server issues on someone else's end
