Sorry for the dearth of entries lately (whereby "lately" I mean, "since I started working at a community college"). Side-note: I think today is a day for archaic pompous words like "dearth" and "whereby." Case in point, I used "herein" on a lab assignment for 115. They were confused once by "latter" -- I wonder what havoc "herein" will wreak ( Read more... ) -
