I get what you are saying regarding trains that are not on time. Really I do.

In terms of the man who died coming into my work, well, all I know was that he was an older man, entered the bar, then was having some trouble walking and collapsed. I think it was probably a heart attack. I wasn't in the part of the restaurant he was in when it happened, but chaos ensued as we had to clear the entire bar, and deal with an insane rush as people flooded into the main restaurant. Everyone was complaining, but all I could think was how sad it was.

My nog would knock your socks off. It's a bit of a pain in the ass to make, with all the whipping and folding, and fluffing and so on, but sooooo tasty. It is also over half alcohol. Deliciousness.

My shrink really broke it down to me in very simple terms a few weeks ago, "fake it 'till you make it." I find that giving in to the unhappiness and depression just gives it like, more power. Argh. Much easier said than done. Keep on keepin on, lady. :)

Thanks, chica. I'm going to keep that in mind, actually. There is a lot of power in the idea of "fake it 'till you make it". I hadn't had it in me to try, but I think I should try more. I think of it like a battle. Me vs. the universe. It's cheesy, but it helps.
