I am on the island of Chiloé...I go home in 17 days. I don´t quite believe it. Maybe I don´t WANT to go home.

Nothing else to report, though it´s nice being back to temperate weather after 20 days or so in and around Tierra del Fuego.

I want out of Tierra del Fuego. It´s nice and all, but...the charm wares off quickly. It´s not even that. Man, I´m tired. It was fucking freezing in Bariloche, for the most part. And it was pretty cold these past few days in El Bolson, but today it´s fucking hot. When one hikes almost everyday, one gets very sensitive to the weathe

We take the night bus to Puerto Madryn tonight. I am eager to see the Welsh section of Patagonia.

Being in another country, without my family, and in a fairly warm climate during christmas is strange. I sort of recommend it, but also, not.

Was a really fun movie. And I would argue a good, solid action movie that was always entertaining. Daniel Craig is a total badass, not to mention a good actor. Damn, I´m glad he´s playing Lord Asriel.

Books read: The Voyage of the Beagle and Crime and Punishment. Voyage took me a lot longer, probably because I didn´t have a 12 hour wait in the middle of nowhere to read it in.

C&P is really good, by the way. It´s more gripping than Brothers K, in my opinion. And yeah, I finished Brothers K. But barely.

If I have another problem with Argentina, it´s that the national pastime seems to be setting off fireworks. If a couple of kids don´t have anything to do on a saturday afternoon? Shit!
