Life is good right now. I've been pleasantly distracted by many things, people, music, books, movies... Summertime in LA has never been so magical and free for me before. I will miss San Francisco. I've been running/walking in the mornings through Golden Gate Park. Just the other day I saw geese, a groundhog, turtles, ducks and a robin on my walk around lovely Stow Lake. It looks more and more likely that I'm moving to Boston. I am at once both afraid and excited. Afraid of the supposedly freezing cold winters but excited at the chance to live somewhere with actual seasons. They say Boston is like San Francisco. I'm not sure what that means exactly. New York, New York

NYC is really fun. I've met so many different folks on my trip to Boston and NYC, it's awesome. Last night I went to a karaoke bar with Tom and his friends in the East Village called Sing Sing. We sang "New York, New York" together. Before that Tom and I had niu rou mien (beef noodle soup) at this place near his apartment.
