And here is the final post relating to the walk on Monday. On arriving back at the Penmaenpool bridge, we were somewhat surprised to find it full of really really expensive cars. I saw Porsche, McLaren, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Jaguar and possibly others I've failed to recognise and/or read the name as I walked past

Wow! I imagine the exhausts all smelled very smelly too!

Possibly, but as we walked past them they all had the engines switched off, waiting for a photographer to get organised to photograph or video them as they drove off the bridge.

The orange one looks a bit like a Transformer I had as a kid, in the process of turning into a sort-of-man...

That's what my husband thought too! You'd need a wide parking space to open that sort of door. They're just not very practical cars.

Ha! How bizarre. I can imagine that I might like to sit (briefly) in a very expensive car, but I don't think I'd care to try to drive one.

I might have been tempted when I was younger, but not on the roads round here. You must be so low down in the driving seat that emerging from junctions must be very scary as you wouldn't be able to see over a wall or even tall weeds and bushes.

I think the people driving the cars fancied they were in a Top Gear episode too! When the finally moved off, it was with a great roaring of engines.
