You mean you don't want to know that Harry runs off to Aruba with Pansy Parkinson to sell Hula skirts?

Helen!

I think some people take it a bit too far, definitely. I get the idea of lining up at midnight with friends, because that's a social thing, but fighting over a book? Not cool.

And running into the shop to make sure you get the first one? Seriously! Everyone who wants a copy will get one!

People do go over the top! Personally, I wouldn't want to line up, but that's because I've spent a lot of time whilst I was at uni queueing late at night and freezing to death (and the summer here at the moment is quite cold!). Personally, I'd rather be in bed and have it delivered to my door! (I haven't ordered it, I'm waiting for my days off, so I'm not tempted to read it at work!)

I pre-ordered my copy and went in at 10:30 on our way to the city to see a musical. The best thing about pre-ordering was that I'd already paid a deposit, so it seemed really cheap on the day :)

I pretty much had to read it ASAP, though, because the majority of my flist is made up of HP fans, and the spoilers tend to start slipping out quite quickly.

I just ordered mine off Amazon, so it should arrive whilst I'm not working. Also, it was cheaper.

I'm a person who like to read on my own in a quiet place, so I'll just tuck myself up with Harry for a few days (and avoid my flist until then!).

:p

I've just ordered it from Amazon, so hopefully it'll get here whilst I'm not working and then I'll tuck myself away with it! *g*

I like it, it's just been so long since I'd last seen it that I thought it ended completely differently!

*g* I think it would have been a lot more interesting if Harry had been an actual Potter! *sigh* Well, it's all over now, and I wasn't overwhelmed by the last book. At least I've still got LotR! That never fails to disappoint, and every time I read it, I learn something new!
