if you post it on the internet...it's not private.
If you make it available only to a select few, then you are doing the Internet equivalent of keeping it private.
but that's probably because i have a brain and can have sex without being paranoid.
That's good that you can, but not everyone is you. (Which is a good thing, I'd say.) Some people need answers and don't know where to turn, so there they go. And more power to 'em!
"oh my god!! i can get pregnant from oral sex!" because, as we all know, we have ovaries that release eggs into our mouth!!
I don't recall anyone saying that, or insinuating that this is the case. Straw man argument.
you're all pissed off because she copied something from your journal and posted it in hers.
Care to rationalize this behavior?
yet here you are posting a conversation on IM between the two of you.
In order to set a record straight, since the other party has made it such a habit to lie about events.
you're acting like my two year old.And you write like your two-year old. Does that

1) Private is private. She posted it on the internet. Her problem...her fault. 2) If someone can't have sex without being paranoid...then they shouldn't be having sex. And you're right...people need answers. They need FACTS...not bullshit. 3) It was just one example showing the ridiculous ways paranoid people think they can get pregnant. 4) I don't have to rationalize it. And neither does Cindy. SHE took part in the conversation as well. They were just as much Cindy's words as they were [whoever this chick is]'s. If she wants to post it in her journal...that's her perogative. There's nothing this person can do about it. It's on the internet...the internet is not private. If you want privacy...go to a priest. 5) Haha. Riiight. Whatever you people need to think in order to make yourselves feel justified and grown up. Good plan. Haha. 6) No. My toddler writes like this: 24tjo;a3j 3o. But hey...valiant effort on your part to take a stab at me. Maybe next time you'll do better.

Friends only IS private, it is for those friends who are deemed trustworthy enough to handle such things. For those who can't, fine, turn away...but don't go posting that sort of thing elsewhere. It is poor form, at best.

I agree wholeheartedly. I think only those who are capable of doing so without freaking out should be making such decisions. But I also think that presenting people with every possibility is important, because otherwise you are denying them knowledge that helps them make that choice. You can gloss over things all you want, I think that is a dangerous practice...not to mention one that opens doors to liability issues.
