I watched this two nights ago, but I haven't had a chance to type anything yet! But today I have no work! (yay for me, boo for my wallet)
I actually don't have that many notes for this one, so it'll be much more brief than my other rewatch reviews...
(
why are you guys running around with no hands? )

Minor nitpick: The fake angel sword was made out of Diet Orange Slice. I loved that little detail.

And yes, I agree about Dean chastising Gabriel with the "can't or won't" line...I mean, on the one hand, if anyone could call him on it - it's Dean...on the other hand, if there's anyone who shouldn't be calling him out over it - it's Dean.
Of course, one could argue that Lucifer is DEFINITELY evil, while Sam is not...even when Sam did evil things, he thought he was doing them to help people, not hurt people.

In the end, Gabriel did fight on his own terms and on the side of humans. Not only did he stand up to his brother and lose his life, but he was going to try to kill Lucifer despite his earlier shock over Dean pointing out the possibility. Here's hoping we might see him again.

Including Supernatural being derivative of a handful of other works...not as a bad thing. Even the writers talk about it, how their Lucifer is directly from Milton and "a handful of graphic novels." Not everything under the sun has to be 100% original. We'd get nowhere if people didn't play with each others ideas. Well, maybe not nowhere, but we'd certainly be missing out on a lot of great stuff!
I read Prachett (sp?) once I think...it was about Death being a woman. Anyway, reading Gaiman is on my to-do list, but it's not necessarily a priority on it. I will definitely keep it on there though. :)

I suspect he can only change it, but he has some serious abilities (i.e. the t.v. land he created in an old warehouse). It actually reminds me of Harry Potter, because doesn't that same rule apply? You can't create things out of nothing, you can only transfigure them?
Food for thought~ :)

But yes, fun to think about!
