Renaissance Faire opened this weekend at Casa de Fruta. If it can be believed, I was even less prepared than last year. At least, that’s how it felt. Still, I had a great time. Only 30 hours until hexadamsel and I hit the road for a WHOLE WEEK OFF WORK!!!

After tomorrow I won't have to get up at 445am until Tuesday May 30th! Color me happy!

I have a ton to do between now and then, but I just had to share the elation.

I made Chicken Marsala last night for dinner. I'm getting the hang of it. I'm proud of that. It's one of those dishes that almost everyone likes, and finally being about to prepare it right feels like something of a milestone.
