How do you forgive yourself?

How can I stop hating myself? I thought I had finally come to love myself, but upon closer examination I've buried years of hate which have finally mounted to monstrous size.

Yay! I'm a comin' to MI for a week!!! We'll be there Thursday and leave the 18th. So excited!

If anyone's around, let me know! Maybe we can do something.

Well, it's been awhile. Last week I went out to NY to secure some housing. The first day I had horrible luck, but the second day I found a brand new apt. complex built especially for people in our situation (a.k.a low income families). well, we finally made our decision. We're going to Cornell! Talk about a tough decision. I still go through cycles where I feel good about it, and then I feel like we are supposed to go to UIUC. Michael came home from visiting MIT yesterday. He learned that we are NOT supposed to go to MIT. He said it wasn't a very favorable experience. The professors were snobby, the culture is snobby, and it's just way too expensive. And quite frankly the main difference between MIT and UIUC is the name.
