I've spent all day today working on part of my brother's xmas gift and a belated birthday gift for my dad. I've been scanning old pictures and it's taking forever to decide what pictures to use. Ugh. I accidentally knocked the tree over this afternoon and just spent the last hour re-decorating it. I lost 2 glass ornaments when it fell. Not how I expected to spend the afternoon. But, at least nothing more broke, and I was able to get it looking decent again.

The key to going to the post office and grocery store one week before Christmas: go early in the morning. I was at he PO by 8:45, out of there by 8:50. I got to the grocery around 9, out at 10:40 (I like to putz around and take my time if they're not busy). And I didn't even spend that much at the grocery. GO ME ( Read more... )

Day one of vacation! I fell asleep on the couch again last night and woke up around 6:30 this morning. Christmas miracles really do happen! Our holiday get-together is cancelled. YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!

So, the snow we were supposed to get this morning totally didn't happen. Which means this outing probably won't get cancelled. Ugh. I'm just not in the mood. I'd much rather sit on the couch and watch movies all day. Well, at least I only have one more day of work (tomorrow) before vacation starts. SO happy about that.

I'm almost finished with these damned mix cds for my co-workers. My eyes hurt from staring at this computer screen all day. I just need to do some artwork (which will be really ghetto) and I'll be completely done. I think after this is all finished, I'll wrap them up in some tissue paper and then watch a movie.
