It's been a long time since I've updated this. But today was kind of a blast from the past. This is my last semester here at the UA, and it amazes me how different everything is -- my friends, my life and myself. I guess there are some things I never got over, and some things I never resolved. But I guess I don't know what to do.

I've made two very large stands in the last two weeks. Two life altering stands. Two stands that are perhaps the most impractical things I've done in my entire life. Two stands that caused me to look deep inside myself and fight for what I believe to be right ( Read more... )

I have been very occupied and preoccupied lately. I've had a lot on my plate lately, from moving out, to being GM, to learning Chinese, to worrying about law schools, grades, volunteering and everything that makes me an appealing applicant to an amazing law school that I can only but dream to go to. There is so much that is in my heart right now. Sadness, mostly. Acceptance, certainly. Excitement, too. But mostly sadness, nostalgia and a touch of heartbreak.

At least I can look at the future with hope.
