This weekend has been really good. Yesterday I went to my friend's house- it was her 34th on Friday so we sat outside, drank, listened to music and had some barbecue. She lives on the other side of the valley to me, and gets a view of the sunset across the city. It was beautiful.

So it seems the insomnia of my early teens might be back. Disturbed sleep patters from being in London and Angst about the essays I have to write and exams I have to sit and grammar I should really learn have played their parts. So I have some weird tooth thing. When I eat something hot, or drink something hot, I keep getting a dull pain on the right side of my mouth. I really don't know why. This is the side I got my filling on back in the Summer (still pissed off), and it is the side that I usually get wisdom-tooth related woe on. Maybe it's just that, and I notice it ( Read more... ) -

Painfully so, it seems.

In lighter news, I spent a wonderful 30 or so hours in Manchester. It was a friend from home's birthday, and a group of us drove down from Hartlepool. Five adults in a Ford Ka. It's do-able. So I have a two-on-one rehearsal for the German play on Tuesday at 17.00.
I need to learn my lines by Tuesday at 17.00.

So we did better at the quiz last night than we usually do: 25/30, and the winning team got 26. So close but so so far! Then we came back here and I resorted to cointreau to play a few games of "who's in the pan". I fell asleep on the couch listening to Sigur Ros and was woken up by my nocturnal housemate.
