Collected thoughts and ramblings from last night and today:
- Glee finally hit English TV last night. Awesome. Monday nights are the new Tuesday nights (Ugly Betty was on on a Tuesday).
- Timetable for next semester is a little bit more resolved, but still smack bang in the middle of clash central. I have done some e-mailing and hopefully will be ( Read more... ) -

Matt went back to London yesterday, but spent the night before at his parents' house to pack. It's rather quiet without him. I find it amazing that I spent pretty much fourteen full days with the man and didn't even get annoyed with him (aside from when the snoring happened). Special Report: The Lake District
2010 and 22 years old.
I can remember being at home with my parents the night of the new millenium- they had a house party and had bought fireworks. Ten years later and I spent it in Sheffield (a city I probably didn't even know about aged 11) with some of my housemates, some friends and my boyfriend. It was nice, but nothing special.

A seasonal message
It's Christmas Eve in England, too. All of our veg has been chopped, the table has been decorated and the last-minute wrapping has been completed. It's nice to be home.

When I was in Groningen I helped tend a blog along with piggelin and our friend Alice. Now that we're back it does seem kind of redundant to continue writing that, so I've decided to start a new livejournal, in Dutch, to write about random things with the ultimate aim of improving my language.

Home is going ok, on the whole. I've been on a couple of trips, up to Alnwick and the Metro Centre, and also down the coast to Whitby. Today me and my parents went on a walk around the town and the marina, which was nice and sunny. I've taken some pictures but am an idiot and left the cable in Sheffield.
