HBO seem to be testing the marketing waters for support for a 4th season of Deadwood, which they previously cancelled due to production costs, then agreed to do two made for tv movies to wrap up, then ... didn't quite know what they were doing.

My physiotherapist and his gf went to Serenity last night on my suggestion and he really enjoyed it. It isn't the sort of movie he normally would have seen, and the advertising didn't do anything for him at all. He and I talked it up to some other patients of his this afternoon. Word of mouth needs to get around faster on this movie
