In 2012 I realized being connected to everything is an addiction I've been battling with. It's a source of anger for me and on the whole, social media and gossip "news" make me think the worst of people. In 2013, I'm unplugging myself and changing my outlook. I don't know if this will actually post because my livejournal decided it doesn't want to work right, but oh well. School has begun. There's a sliver of hope that this semester won't be as soul-sucking as the last two due to the fact that Pathophysiology and Applied Pharmacology I and II are both behind me (I got -As in both, something I'm sure only a handful of neurotic fucks have done.) I became single around the same time as a female coworker of mine, and I watched her immerse herself into singledom and become so happy from it. While I know I need to be single right now, the shit she tells me about her hook ups, every-night-partying, etc. all seems...I can't think of the word, so I'll say it seems beneath me.
