I think it was hard time I update my LJ. I just haven't felt like taking time to do it lately.

I have been very affected by my last stay in Paris, where I met with friends but also with my brother and sister-in-law, who frankly told me they were worried by my mental and physical health. Again. Which I was quite aware of, anyhow.

Last week-end, lilbitterbug visited from Olympia, Wa, which is such a long way away I feel honored she stopped by my place. She had been on an academic language trip for 3 weeks or so in Britanny and Paris. I am enjoying the last bits of my Spring break, which was a full one, 'cause I was also off from my work at the library, a condition I had discussed with my colleagues after having covering for lots of them sometimes with like a 24h notice, and I really needed it.

Last week was the yearly Spring of cinema in Francen that is you only pay 3,50€ to see movies in theatre. I went to see The Good Heart, by Dagur Kari. It feels like I am slowly getting into a better mood. I suppose it has to do with the weather that is eventually becoming sunny and warm. It is Spring this week-end (and my brother's birthday, though I won't go down to Paris before April I think).

Winter is still lingering on here. But the days are bright and longer, at least until we change hours which is not before late March.
